Crafting guide: recipes, materials and costs
Classic Karos provides crafting through specialist town NPCs. A useful preparation starts with choosing the finished item you need and making the entire material chain visible before you collect or buy anything.
Read the recipe backwards from the result
Choose the final item and list every input shown by its recipe. If an ingredient must itself be crafted, give it a separate line. Keep the full name and required quantity together so that similar names or icons do not lead you to collect the wrong materials.
Separate required, owned and missing amounts
Write three quantities beside each ingredient. If an example recipe needs eight pieces and you own three, five are missing; these numbers illustrate the calculation only. Before buying materials, compare the cost of intermediate items with other ways to obtain the finished product.
Leave room to inspect the result
Organize your inventory so that the finished item will be easy to identify. Read the selected recipe and output name again before confirming. Afterwards, record the inputs consumed and the item created; a long batch of actions makes the first result harder to investigate.
Before you start
- List the target item and every recipe input.
- Calculate required, owned and missing amounts separately.
- Compare the finished item with the recipe description.
What to test during beta
During beta, record a single, easy-to-follow crafting operation first. The NPC name, recipe name, input quantities and output form the core of a useful report. If the result differs from what was displayed, share the screenshots and steps before repeating the action to compensate.
