Berneo guide: prepare your next journey
Classic Berneo includes vendors, storage and a guild manager. On your first visits, focus on recognizing the services you need rather than trying to memorize every map icon or character name at once.
Make a list before returning to town
Collect completed quests, equipment you want to inspect and missing supplies in one list. This lets you plan a town visit instead of returning separately for every small need. Record the NPC name in the quest description so that you can find your place again.
Navigate by the service description
Read what an NPC offers as well as their name. Separate quest turn-ins, shopping and inventory organization into distinct tasks. Verify directions with the map and descriptions in your current edition rather than treating coordinates from an older guide as certain.
Prepare the group before setting out
If you play together, agree on a meeting point and destination in advance. Compare each member’s quest objectives: leaving the same town does not mean everyone has the same task. Check skills, inventory and your next objective before starting the journey.
Before you start
- List quest turn-ins and the services you need.
- Organize your inventory and check your supplies.
- Choose the next objective and any group meeting point.
What to test during beta
In beta, check that the map marker, NPC description and opened window agree. A useful report includes more than the town name: provide the NPC name, interface language, expected service and actual result. These details make navigation issues much easier to reproduce.
