Rules, enforcement and privacy
We prefer a short rule set: few items, all of them actually enforced, each one explainable. Below are the rules and what we do with your data.
Rules
- No cheats or third-party software. Modifying the client, automation (botting), macros and comparable tools are violations.
- No bug abuse. If you find an exploit or a bug you are expected to report it; continuing to use it is a violation. We thank reporters rather than punishing them.
- Harassment, hate speech, spam and unsolicited advertising are not tolerated. The rule covers game chat and Discord alike.
- No staff impersonation and no phishing. Presenting yourself as a GM, admin or moderator to collect information from players is grounds for permanent closure.
- The beta is a test. Maintenance and outages happen and you will meet bugs; reporting what you run into is the contribution we ask for.
- One single reset at launch. On 2026 at 20:00 the server is reset once and everyone starts equal.
Account security
Never share your password. The team will never, under any circumstances, ask for your password, your application key or a verification code — anyone who does is not staff. Because the site deliberately has no login form, your password is only ever typed into the game client. If anything looks suspicious, write to [email protected].
Enforcement tiers and appeals
Enforcement runs in three stages: a warning with a temporary restriction, a timed closure, and permanent closure. Automatic detections never punish on their own; they enter a review queue and are examined by a human, so a false positive can be reversed. If you believe a decision is wrong, write to [email protected] and appeal.
Feedback is the deal
Joining a beta asks one thing in return: tell us what you see. If an ability does not behave as expected, a quest chain stalls, or a text is mistranslated, post it in the relevant Discord channel. Without that we cannot see how the rebuilt systems behave in real hands.
Privacy summary
- Username — to create the account.
- E-mail — for your application status and the launch announcement.
- Language choice — so the site and our announcements reach you in your own language.
- IP address — to prevent abuse and bursts of applications.
- Discord identity and name — recorded once you confirm, so the reward lands on the right account.
Passwords are never written in plain text anywhere. We do not sell data, do not share it for advertising and use no third-party trackers. Retention covers the beta and the transfer period; to have your application deleted, write to [email protected]. Practical questions are on FAQ and the starting steps on How to Play. The same principles apply on our sister site Karos Online.
